One of my favorite discoveries.... CREE's LED recessed can
Anyone who knows me as a designer, knows I absolutely abhore CFL's and most Flourescent lighting.. I've been open to LED's but the color rendition, until rescently, was not up to snuff. After touring the building on Lakeshore I was inspired to start looking for new options. And I found it! CREE has a line of high quality LED lighting.

Bottlestone: Sustainable countertops that compete with stone slabs
Bottlestone is a solid surface material that can be used for various applications... in place of materials like granite and other stone slabs. Why not just use granite? Well because it's not made of 80% post consumer recycled material like Bottlestone! Not to mention the process for creating Bottlestone even has a low impact on the environment, Unlike quarrying stone.

Way Cool Products
Check it out: Crossville Tile not only makes beatiful tile using recycled materials, they also started the Tile-Take Back Program. So far, they're taking 4 million lbs of tile that was previously considered non-recyclable and new tile products.
